PRIME FUNCTION

To ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of all anodizing plant equipment by planning, executing, and monitoring preventive and breakdown maintenance activities, minimizing downtime, and supporting production targets with optimal machine performance. |
JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

AUTHORITY
- Approve routine maintenance activities and schedules.
- Recommend procurement of spare parts, tools, and services within budget limits.
- Allocate manpower for maintenance tasks.
- Stop equipment operation in case of safety or operational risks.
- Escalate major breakdowns or capital requirements to higher management.
JOB SPECIFICATION / COMPETENCY
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
Experience:
- 5–8 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in anodizing, surface treatment, or metal finishing industry
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of anodizing process and equipment
- Expertise in electrical systems, rectifiers, PLCs, and automation
- Familiarity with pumps, compressors, and utility systems
- Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
