PRIME FUNCTION

To lead and manage PPC operations by ensuring strategic production planning, optimal resource utilization, inventory control, and alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop long-term and short-term production plans.
• Lead PPC team for execution and monitoring of plans.
• Ensure alignment of production with sales forecasts and customer demand.
• Drive inventory optimization and cost control initiatives.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, quality, and logistics.
• Implement advanced planning systems and process improvements.
• Analyze KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage capacity planning and bottleneck resolution.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.

AUTHORITY

• Authority to approve production plans and schedules.
• Decision-making on inventory levels and planning strategies.
• Lead cross-functional coordination and escalation handling.
• Approve changes in planning processes and systems.
• Team management and performance evaluation.

JOB SPECIFICATION / COMPETENCY

• BE/B.Tech with 8–12 years of experience in PPC (automotive industry).
• Strong expertise in production planning, forecasting, and supply chain.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/APO preferred).
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
