Job Description:

1.Ensure right Measuring Instruments and Gauges are issued as per requirement of user.
2.Ensure a register for issue and receipt of gauges in maintained.
3.Updated the issue and receipt of Measuring Instruments and Gauges in SAP.
4.Attend the problems / issues based on communication received by user, report to In-charge and register the same.
5.Ensure specified Measuring Instruments and Gauges are used and returned by operator.
6.Support the users to set Bend and Twist gauge and other Measuring Instruments and Gauges.
7.Carry out intermediated check of Measuring Instruments and Gauges as per the plan.
8.Update history sheet and calibration records of all the Measuring Instruments and Gauges.
9.Collect the Equipments which are due for calibration from the user and submit the same to in-house and external calibration.
10.Display the appropriate calibration color code wherever the Measuring Instruments and Gauges are used.
11.Monitor the proper functioning of Measuring Instruments and Gauges issued and updated the status in weekly inspection report.
12.Check for the condition of Measuring Instruments and Gauges and replace the spares if required.
13.Communicate In-charge in case of replacement of Gauges and Measuring instruments has to be procured.
14.Keep the surface plate and working area clean and tidy.
15.Attend breakdown of Measuring Instruments and Gauges immediately.
16.Issue recall note to the concerned in case of major breakdown or damage of Measuring Instruments and Gauges.
17.Communicate shop floor requirements of Measuring Instruments and Gauges to In-charge.
18.Attend Department meeting and trainings when ever planned.
19.Implement and maintain the QMS (Quality Management System)
20.Timely transactions in SAP PM (Plant maintenance) module.
21.Participate in improving the process through QCC (Quality Control Circle), Kaizen and other cost reduction techniques.
22.Implement and maintain 6S activities.
23.Ensure requirements of IATF 16949, ISO/IEC 17025, NABL, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & EnMS are met and reviewed periodically.
