Job Description: 

PRIME FUNCTION

Pre-Delivery Inspection 

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality requirements before inspection.
  • verify dimensions using measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, thread gauges, feeler gauge, and CMM.
  • Raise and document non-conformance reports (NCR) for rejected parts/material.
  • Support root cause analysis using 5 Why / Fishbone and implement corrective actions.
  • Verify traceability of material, certifications, and process documentation.
  • Support internal, customer, and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and customer requirements.

AUTHORITY

  • Authority to accept or reject products based on drawing/specification requirements.
  • Authority to stop movement of non-conforming products to next process.
  • Authority to raise NCR and initiate containment action.
  • Authority to escalate quality concerns to Quality Manager / Production team.

JOB SPECIFICATION / COMPETENCY

Qualification:

  • Diploma or any relevant field

Experience:

  • 1–4 years (Preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing)

Technical Knowledge:

  • Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques
  • Knowledge of measuring instruments and gauges
  • Knowledge of NCR, CAPA, and root cause analysis
  • Basic knowledge of quality standards such as International Aerospace Quality Group AS9100 or International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001
  • Basic understanding of material certification and traceability requirements
