Job Description:
PRIME FUNCTION
To ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, statutory compliance, and employee compensation administration in line with organizational policies and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities / Job Description
- Process monthly payroll end-to-end, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines
- Maintain and validate employee data, attendance, and leave records
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.)
- Handle payroll inputs such as incentives, reimbursements, deductions, and final settlements
- Coordinate with finance and HR teams for payroll reconciliation and reporting
- Generate payslips, payroll reports, and statutory filings
- Address employee queries related to payroll, taxation, and deductions
- Support audits and ensure proper documentation of payroll records
Authority
- Access to payroll systems and employee compensation data
- Authority to validate payroll inputs and flag discrepancies
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for payroll-related approvals
Job Specification / Competency
- Qualification: MSW/MBA HR
- 5+ years of experience in payroll processing
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems, SAP and MS Excel
- Good understanding of statutory compliances and labor laws
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
