Key Responsibilities
Project Execution
-
Execute Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for industrial construction projects.

Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams for smooth MEP integration.

Ensure MEP installation complies with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Monitor site activities for HVAC, electrical distribution, ELV works, fire protection systems, compressed air systems, and plumbing networks.
Planning & Coordination
-
Review MEP drawings and coordinate with consultants and contractors.
-
Prepare method statements, work schedules, and execution plans.
-
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for timely delivery and installation of equipment.
-
Participate in project planning meetings and progress reviews.
Quality Control
-
Ensure all MEP works meet project quality standards.
-
Conduct inspections and testing of installations such as:
-
HVAC systems
-
Electrical panels and cabling
-
ELV system
-
Fire fighting systems
-
Water supply and drainage systems
-
Ensure compliance with applicable standards and codes such as IS standards, EnMS standards, EHS & OHSAS standards, NBC guidelines, and safety regulations.
Cost & Material Management

Verify BOQ quantities and track material consumption.

Coordinate procurement of MEP materials and equipment.
-
Review contractor bills and certify work completion.
Testing & Commissioning

Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.

Prepare commissioning documentation and as-built drawings.
-
Ensure proper functioning of all installed systems.
Safety & Compliance
-
Ensure site safety practices during MEP installation.
-
Follow statutory regulations and industrial safety standards.
-
Coordinate with EHS teams for safe execution of works.
Required Skills
-
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, ELV system, firefighting, plumbing systems.

Experience in industrial plant utilities such as compressed air, chilled water, and process utilities.

Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and shop drawings.
-
Knowledge of project planning tools and reporting.

Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Project / Excel.
-
Good coordination and communication skills.
Educational Qualification
-
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Preferred Experience
-
Experience in automotive, aerospace, forging manufacturing plant projects.
-
Experience working with PMC, EPC contractors, or industrial developers.
