Job Description:
Key Responsibilities.
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of components/products.
- Check dimensions and product parameters using measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges, etc.
- Follow approved inspection standards, drawings, specifications, and control plans.
- Identify and report defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
- Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports and records.
- Support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA).
- Assist in handling customer complaints and internal quality issues.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Stores, and other departments to resolve quality problems.
- Ensure proper identification and segregation of rejected/non-conforming material.
- Participate in quality improvement and continuous improvement activities.
- Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and quality management system standards such as ISO/IATF, where applicable.
- Support audits and maintain required quality documentation.
- Learn and apply quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Pareto Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, Poka-Yoke, and SPC.
- Required Skills:-
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and quality-control processes.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection methods.
- Basic understanding of 7 QC Tools and problem-solving techniques.
- Good communication.
- Basic computer knowledge, particularly MS Excel and Word.
- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.
