Job Description: 

PRIME FUNCTION

To support project planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring activities by working closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring timely and quality delivery of project objectives.

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Planning: Assist in developing project plans and schedules, defining milestones, tasks, and resource requirements.
  • Project Coordination: Work with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
  • Budget Monitoring: Track project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets. Highlight deviations and potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks, evaluate their impact, and support development of mitigation plans.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors for procurement requirements and timely delivery of materials/services.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation including plans, progress reports, and change requests.
  • Quality Assurance: Work with the Quality team to ensure compliance with applicable project standards and quality procedures.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and escalate deviations from schedule or scope when needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and contribute to process improvement initiatives, cost optimization, and overall project efficiency.

AUTHORITY

  • Recommend project-related improvements and solutions.
  • Coordinate directly with vendors and internal teams regarding project execution.
  • Escalate risks, deviations, and resource needs to reporting managers.

JOB SPECIFICATION / COMPETENCY

Qualification:

  • BE/Diploma/B.Tech or related fields

Experience:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in project engineering or related engineering functions

Technical Competencies:

  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work under minimal supervision.
  • AS9100 QMS and Documentation awareness.

PERFORMANCE MEASURES

  • Timely execution of project milestones and deliverables.
  • Accuracy and completeness of project documentation and reports.
