PRIME FUNCTION

Accountable for Plant 2 Training and Development Activities

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

Productivity (P):
Plan, coordinate, and execute training programs aligned with organizational requirements, including QMS, EMS, OHSMS, EnMS, statutory, and ethical standards. Arrange internal/external trainings, support GET/DET programs, and conduct OJT and evaluations for trainees, contract workmen, and apprentices. Develop multi-skilled employees.

Quality (Q):
Maintain training records, conduct OJT (Level 1) for operators, and coordinate skill evaluations. Improve training methods using DOJO and digital tools.

Cost (C):
Control and reduce stationery expenses.

Delivery (D):
Organize refresher trainings and coordinate intra/inter-plant skill competitions.

Safety (S):
Ensure safe OJT practices with PPE compliance and investigate incidents due to skill gaps.

Environment (E):
Drive 6S audits, housekeeping, and EMP implementation.

Morale (M):
Conduct refresher training and support engagement activities.

ESG:
Promote ESG awareness and compliance initiatives.

Others:
Coordinate internships and student projects.

  • Signing of on the Job training records
  • Evaluation of On the Job & other training records

JOB SPECIFICATION / COMPETENCY

  • Qualification – ITI/ Diploma/B. Tech
  • Minimum Experience- 2-5 Years
  • Good communication and Presentation skills
  • Manufacturing process knowledge / skills
  • Training skills
  • 6S Auditing skills
  • Computer Skills

Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 50001:2018 and other applicable standards

PERFORMANCE MEASURES

  • On the Job Training Plan v/s Actual (Target 100%)
  • Periodic Refreshment Training for All Machine Operators & Inspectors
  • No. of Incidents / Accidents due to lack of Training
  • No. of EMP/OMP Implemented in Training department
  • Customer Complaint due to lack of Knowledge / Skill
