Major Responsibilities:-

 1. Ensure availability of required tools, fixtures, and gauges as per production requirements.
 2. Maintain proper tool inventory, identification, and storage system. 
3. Monitor tool consumption and control tool-related costs. 
4. Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of tools, dies, and fixtures. 
5. Maintain tool history records and tool life monitoring. 
6. Monitor tool consumption and identify cost reduction opportunities. 
7.Maintain records of tool issue/return, tool life, maintenance, and calibration. 
8. Implement improvement projects for increasing tool life and reducing rejection. 
9. Conducting on the job training for operators as per the tool setting procedure.

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in Tool Room (3-5 Years)
• Knowledge of  tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, and tooling practices
