Job Description:
- Plan and execute shift-wise production as per the daily schedule to achieve output targets.
- Allocate manpower and machines effectively at the start of shift and monitor performance.
- Ensure adherence to process parameters, SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Monitor in-process quality and coordinate with QA for first-piece approval and line clearance.
- Record production data, downtime, rejections, and OEE in shift logs and ERP.
- Troubleshoot minor machine/process issues and escalate major breakdowns to Maintenance.
- Enforce safety practices, PPE usage, and 5S on the shop floor.
- Hand over shift with complete status update to the next Shift Incharge.
- Train operators/helpers on process and safety requirements.
- Ensure raw material availability and report shortages to stores/planning.
