Job Description: 

PRIME FUNCTION

To support production operations by ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, maintaining quality standards, minimizing downtime, and assisting in continuous improvement initiatives.

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in planning and executing daily production activities as per schedules
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve machine breakdowns and reduce downtime
  • Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials
  • Maintain production records, reports, and documentation
  • Support implementation of process improvements and cost reduction initiatives
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and suggest corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety norms, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in audits and support corrective/preventive actions
  • Work closely with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams

 

 

AUTHORITY

  • Authority to report and escalate production issues to senior engineers or supervisors
  • Authority to recommend process improvements and corrective actions
  • Limited decision-making authority in day-to-day operational adjustments under supervision

JOB SPECIFICATION / COMPETENCY

Educational Qualification:

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / industrial engineering or related field.

Experience:

  • 0-2 years of experience in production planning and control in a manufacturing environment.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning
  • Understanding of quality standards and safety practices
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and production-related software
  • Willingness to work in shifts
