PRIME FUNCTION  

To lead and manage the financial controlling function of the manufacturing plant by ensuring accurate financial accounting, plant costing, budgeting, reporting, working capital management, statutory compliance, internal controls, and business partnering with plant leadership to achieve operational excellence, profitability, and sustainable business growth.JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES  
• Lead the plant finance and controlling function, ensuring accurate accounting, timely book closure, and statutory compliance. 
• Drive plant costing, margin analysis, and cost optimization initiatives to improve profitability. 
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, MIS reports, variance analysis, and key financial dashboards. 
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in alignment with plant business objectives. 
• Monitor working capital through effective management of inventory, receivables, fixed assets, and capital expenditure. 
•Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, internal controls, corporate policies, and statutory requirements. 
• Coordinate internal, statutory, cost, and tax audits, ensuring timely closure of audit observations. 
• Partner with Plant Head and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic business decisions. 
• Drive continuous improvement, process automation, and SAP Finance best practices to enhance operational efficiency. 
• Lead, mentor, and develop the plant finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.AUTHORITY  
The incumbent is authorized to:
• Approve accounting entries within delegated authority limits. 
• Review and authorize vendor payment recommendations. 
• Validate financial reports before submission to Corporate Finance. 
• Recommend provisions, accruals, and accounting adjustments. 
• Approve plant cost centre allocations. 
• Initiate corrective actions for financial control deviations. 
• Coordinate with auditors and statutory authorities on finance matters. 
• Recommend inventory provisions and asset capitalization. 
• Review working capital performance and initiate corrective measures. 
• Recommend process improvements to enhance financial governance. 
• Guide and supervise finance team activities.JOB SPECIFICATION / COMPETENCY  Educational Qualification
•  CA / CMA (ICWA) / MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.Com (with relevant experience) 
Experience
• 10–15 years of experience in Manufacturing Finance, Plant Controlling, Costing, and Financial Planning. 
• Experience in Automotive, Aerospace, Engineering, Forging, Machining, or Industrial Manufacturing preferred.
